Tankman is a soldier, as you can tell from his attire of a black and white suit, and his uniform includes items of gear typically worn by military commanders, such as hardy boots, a helmet, gloves, a bulletproof vest, and a visor. His corporal insignias on his arms further indicate that he is a higher ranking soldier than the others you have already encountered in the series.
The character also goes by the name Captain Tankman, and he first appeared in the 2006 television series Tankmen on Newgrounds. He travels through the desert region with his best friend Steve after the apocalypse, where only tankmen have survived and warring groups are present.
The opponent, Tankman, must be defeated, just like in previous games, by having good timing and rhythm as you battle him across numerous songs. To accurately strike all the notes and dancing routines, press the arrow keys when they line up with the corresponding symbols on the screen.
You can opt to play the game in Free Play mode, where you can just have one-off battles while utilizing your favorite tunes, or in Story mode, where there will be an adventure for you to go through and where you can learn more about the characters.
